NEW YORK – on 7 May 2011 the Philippine Consulate General New York outreach team was at the VFW Center in Needham, Massachusetts providing assistance and advice to the members of the Filipino-American community in the Boston area.

With the coordination of PAMANA President Isabelo “Bill” Solar, his wife Fracel, PAMANA Vice President Frank Celoza and the able assistance of Mr. Rudy Hermosa (who has hosted the Consulate in Massachusetts every year for at least the last decade), the event once again drew over a hundred applicants, allowing the team to complete 114 separate transactions during the one day event.  Thus far, the outreach in Massachusetts has been the largest for the year and we congratulate our hosts in Massachusetts for their excellent work in reaching out to the community.
